Jose Mourinho did not bite his tongue when asked about his decisions to take off Gareth Bale and Tanguy Ndombele in Tottenham HotspurNorth London derby loss to Arsenal on Sunday.
The Welshman looked frustrated when he withdrew, however Mourinho has made his mind clear.
“The only positives in the first half were the incredible goal and score,” Mourinho said. “Everything was not a good reflection of that first half.
“They dominated us. We were very poor. Some important players were hiding. I’m just as guilty for the first half as they are.”
“Intensity. Gareth and Tanguywe need more intensity in our game. We have to press more, be more intense in the game. We needed [Moussa] Sissoko to give us that intensity that the midfield didn’t bring for me. “
