Pregnant woman and her baby die after being shot in Ciales last night

The pregnant woman who was injured by a gunshot in the shooting that killed her partner in Ciales yesterday has died, as has her baby, police confirmed.

Authorities say a call alerted the 9-1-1 emergency system of on-site blasts, so officers went to the scene.

On arrival, the troops were found on the spot Héctor Elías Molina Colón, 22 years old, in a white 2003 Suzuki XL7 car. The man’s body had multiple gunshot wounds that caused him to die on the spot.

Police are analyzing classifying the crime as a triple homicide and reported that the number of violent deaths so far this year is 132, about eight fewer than last year to date.
