The Pokémon Company has announced plans to host a special virtual concert with American rapper and songwriter Post Malone.
The show takes place on February 27 at 7:00 PM ET – also known as Pokémon Day, thanks to the release of the original games Pokémon Red and Green taking place on that day in 1996. The trailer above teases a virtual version of Post Malone, presumably showing what he will look like at the concert.
Taking place on Saturday, February 27 – better known as Pokémon Day – the event will be an online celebration not just for Pokémon fans, but for all music fans around the world. The plans for Pokémon’s 25th anniversary will feature the “biggest names in music,” and Katy Perry has also confirmed to join forces with gaming’s biggest franchise.
