Officers assigned to the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) reported investigating the death of a Puerto Rico police officer on duty in the parking lot of the Martínez Urban Train Station Nadal in Monacillos.
Authorities reportedly found the agent’s body upon arrival at the above site Freddie Morales Ortiz, 35, in the driver’s seat of a white Mitsubishi Lancer car.
Authorities have determined that Morales Ortiz committed suicide with a gunshot to the head.
Officer Xiomara Hernández, of the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps, has investigated these events together with prosecutor Rosalin García.
