Raleigh, NC Several shots were fired at the Crabtree Valley Mall on Glenwood Avenue on Thursday evening.
The shooting took place on the first floor near an exit, officials said. No injuries were reported as of 10 p.m.
Multiple police cars and ambulances responded to the scene after reports of the shooting. At the moment, there is no active shooter at the mall, officials said.
Police said they believe the two people involved in the shooting know each other.
Most of the shopping center has been evacuated and closed at night.
WRAL viewers at the mall said they heard shots while shopping inside. When they heard the shots, they hid. Some people hid in store cabinets to stay safe.
Police are currently watching video to find out exactly what happened.
