Police in Llorens Torres are looking for the people responsible for murdering police officers in Carolina

Police Commissioner Colonel Antonio López Figueroa assured that uniformed police are currently in the Luis Llorens Torres residential area of ​​San Juan to find those responsible for a shooting that killed three police officers.

López Figueroa said in an interview with Playing Hard Ball that they are “trying to locate the person who was involved in the deaths of the fellow police officers.”

“It’s a very sad day for Puerto Rico,” the commissioner continued. “The police did their job.”

In this residential area, authorities found the vehicle abandoned, from where the occupants began firing at the police officers.

This was described as a 2003 Hyundai Accent model, white in color.

The Colonel called on the citizens and residents of Llorens Torres to provide information that would help find “the people who committed this nefarious act. That they help us and work with us”.

On the other hand, the commissioner also assured that the FBI and other federal authorities are working together to clear up the facts.

Previously, Secretary of the Department of Public Security (DSP), Alexis Torres, assured that he will take “the person responsible” for causing the officers’ deaths to the final consequences.

“To the people of Puerto Rico, I reiterate my commitment to investigate these events and bring the responsible person to final consequences,” Torres said in written statements on the DSP Facebook account.
