Police are looking for thieves who were victimized with an AR-style gun during a robbery, authorities say

HOUSTON – Two men are being searched for in connection with a serious robbery.

The incident took place around 4:00 PM on Dec. 14 in block 18700 of John F. Kennedy Boulevard, police said.

Authorities say someone was loading some items into his vehicle when they were approached by two armed men demanding that the victim get to the ground. The victim refused, so one of the thieves hit the person on the head with an AR-style gun, police said.

Police said the victim then tried to run, but the second suspect caught up and tackled the victim to the ground and stole the victim’s wallet and money before fleeing the scene in a white Dodge Challenger and gray Toyota Camry.
