Will the next PS5 supplement to Target take place on January 19th? On Twitter, speculation that Target will release its new PS5 stock next week has been circulating, thanks to a new screenshot that seemingly suggests so much, but the screenshot in question has since been disputed. And unfortunately, Target has no comment on the matter, leaving PS5 customers completely in the dark.
As in 2020, the PS5 is now almost impossible to get. Whether or not this will change in the coming months, who knows, but right now it could very well be the hardest it’s ever been to get the console. Not only is competition still fierce, but retailers have run out of supplies over the holiday season. Since Christmas, supplies have been very scarce. And if they used Best Buy, GameStop, and more, they’ll sell out instantly.
As for Target, it has been quiet in 2021, but this may change soon. On Twitter, “YtNextGenGaming,” a page that has helped PlayStation fans get their hands on the elusive console, revealed that they have received a screenshot that seems to indicate the next PS5 drop will be on January 19th, which is next Tuesday. .
If you haven’t seen the tweet yet, it includes an image of PS5 stock ready for January 19th, but in the replies, many have disputed the screenshot, with users claiming it’s not for the console, but the PS5 media remote control. And at the moment this appears to be the case.
this may indicate a drop in target on January 19, nothing confirmed. I have this sent to me by one of my followers. I will try to confirm this and get back to you. pic.twitter.com/NO7tC2eJ6t

Will the PS5 go on sale at Target next week? Could be. At this point, however, the retailer has not announced any new offering, and the above tweet should be taken with at least a huge grain of salt.
When we spoke to a GameStop manager on Monday, we were informed that they have not received any new stock in the store since Black Friday. Sure, the retailer has sold stock online, but the thing is, no one currently has much PS5 stock. In other words, even if Target drops new stock next week, it probably won’t be the truckload that many PlayStation customers are hoping for.
