Starting January 5, 2021, you can order a ‘retro-inspired’ PS5 with PlayStation 2 theme.
You may only remember earlier this month there was a mock-up of the design of whattheefth and SUP3R5. It got such an overwhelming response that SUP3R5 goes for it, making a DualSense controller for $ 99 or / and a console starting at $ 649.
The bad news is that these consoles are being sold in limited numbers very low supply. SUP3R5 confirmed in an email that it will only make 500 DualSense controllers and 304 consoles, making it a seriously popular item.
While these aren’t official, and SUP3R5 insists it has no affiliation with Sony, they’re likely to be picked up pretty damn soon.
SUP3R5 explained, “We feel compelled to do this based on everyone’s unexpectedly positive responses. They added that as they will modify existing components rather than manufacture them, they do not expect to face legal challenges from Sony.

2 months agoInterestingly, a majority of gamers revealed that they were planning to give up work when the PS5 launched in their country, so they all day with their new purchases.
A Reddit poll around the time of release found that the vast majority of PlayStation fans were planning on taking annual leave or pulling an old-fashioned sickie to spend some quality time with the next-gen hardware.
While the results of a Reddit poll are hardly comprehensive, a separate study from executives.co.uk found that 66.5 percent of fans took the day the PS5 took off.
On a slightly more disturbing note, a few wrote on the Reddit thread that they weren’t taking a day off just to play the console, but mostly that their precious pack wasn’t sitting outside their home all day.
