Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond’s Cousin Caleb Arrested For DUI A MONTH After Terrifying Crash

Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond’s cousin Caleb has been arrested over a month on a DUI charge following his terrifying car accident that also involved her husband Ladd.

Ladd, 51, and Caleb, 21, were each driving a Himmat Fire Truck on March 10 when they collided head-on after visibility from the wind diminished, with Caleb reportedly being ejected 22 meters from the truck as neither man was wearing a seat belt.

In addition to the DUI, he was charged Saturday with carrying firearms while intoxicated and transporting an open container of beer, TMZ reported.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has not disclosed detailed information about the arrest, and it is not known whether he remains in custody.

The Instagram page for Ree’s The Pioneer Woman Magazine, featuring Alex and Todd, Ladd’s kids, provided an update on the accident earlier this month, with a good prognosis.

“Ladd and Caleb are recovering from their accident on the farm,” the statement read, adding, “And the Drummond family are so grateful for all your kind words!”

They also sent fans to The Pioneer Woman’s website, where they showed a video segment called Ask Alex, where Ladd’s daughter Alex, 23, and son Todd, 17, offered a new update on their dad.

‘Many people ask how our father is. He’s doing a lot better. He’s on the mend and he’s even starting to work the farm again, ”Alex said.

After the accident, which occurred on March 10 near Pawhuska, Oklahoma, both men were transferred to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Caleb was admitted in critical condition with head, arm, leg and internal injuries.

Ree revealed in a March 15 blog post that both Ladd and Caleb were reacting to a fire on the farm when the accident happened.

While Ladd initially refused help, he was taken to hospital after learning that his neck had been broken in two different places, which was almost catastrophic.

“ Rather than wishing the accident didn’t happen, I will live in a state of gratitude – not only because the boys are doing well, but also for the love, kindness and prayers of so many of you, ” Ree wrote on her blog.

“Thank you very much for connecting with our family and for holding the past few days in your heart. I can’t tell you how much it means to all of us, and I will never, ever forget it! she added.
