Piers Morgan pledges to reveal his ‘truth’ about Meghan Markle feud in explosive 1-hour TV special

Piers Morgan has vowed to reveal what he calls ‘MY truth’ in a one-hour TV special following his explosive Meghan Markle debate and subsequent exit from Good Morning Britain.

The TV host, 56, quit the ITV show and left in March after clashing with weather forecaster Alex Beresford about the validity of Meghan’s shocking allegations against the royal family during her Oprah Winfrey interview.

And now Piers is gearing up to set the record straight on Fox Nation’s Tucker Carlson Today show on Monday.

The journalist will unpack the events that led to his dramatic departure in his first all-telling interview.

Piers confirmed the news on his Twitter account on Saturday, writing, ‘Time for America to hear MY truth …’

In another update shared Friday night, Piers poked fun at Meghan, 39, as he referred to the moment when Oprah, 67, asked if she was “ quiet or silenced? ” to which the wife of Prince Harry, 36, accused the royal establishment of silencing her.

Piers once again cast doubts as to the authenticity of her allegations and used Oprah’s question to clarify his departure from GMB.

He joked: ‘UPDATE: On Monday I give my first interview since leaving Good Morning Britain to @TuckerCarlson on his new @ foxnation show, with highlights that night on his @ FoxNews show.

Was I silent, or was I silenced? (crying laughing emoji). ‘

Tucker, 51, also confirmed the news on social media when he shared an exclusive excerpt from the interview, saying, ‘So, Piers Morgan was banned from television for asking a simple question: How do the most privileged people in our society get away? with posing as the most oppressed?

Because they asked him if they were crushing him, they took his job away. On Monday we speak with Piers Morgan for his first in-depth interview on camera since he was canceled. ‘

Last month, Morgan announced he had quit GMB after co-star Beresford contested his comments about Meghan and her interview with Oprah.

The outspoken GMB presenter left the daytime series after he left insisted that he “didn’t believe a word” of Meghan’s story of suffering from suicidal thoughts and experiencing racism at the hands of the royal family.

Piers then walked away after a heated debate with Alex, in which the weather presenter accused Piers of dishonestly ‘vandalizing’ Meghan and calling him ‘devilish’.

When Piers left the screen, Alex continued, “I’m sorry, but Piers sprays regularly and we have to sit there and listen.”

Piers, who declined to apologize, later announced his resignation and tweeted his thanks to the GMB team, praising them for their “ hard work and dedication ” that led to them beating their main breakfast TV rival.

And the presenter shared his own reflections on the events of that fateful week in a piece for last weekend’s Mail On Sunday.

Piers called Alex ‘GMB’s occasional stand-in weatherman’ and ‘tense’ in the telling report, adding that the presenter hasn’t messaged him since he left, unlike others on the show.

Thinking about their now infamous meeting at GMB, which ended in Piers leaving the studio, Piers said he wouldn’t sit there and get ‘beaten’ by one of his own team.

He wrote: ‘I don’t mind outside guys trying to make a name for themselves by slapping me like that, but I wouldn’t just sit there and take over any of my own team, especially from someone I’ve dated my way of helping when he asks me for career advice.

Realizing that I might say something I would regret, I decided to leave the studio to cool off.

As I walked away, Alex doubled over: “This is pathetic. Absolutely devilish behavior. I’m sorry but Piers spouts regularly and we all have to sit here and listen. From 6.30am to 7am yesterday it was incredibly hard to see.

‘He has the ability to come in here and talk from a position he doesn’t quite understand …’ ‘

Piers continued, “I heard nothing more of his rant when I was out the door and on my way to my dressing room.

I knew it didn’t look right, the big snowflake basher running away from the showdown. And on reflection, I shouldn’t have done it. But in the heat of the fight, in my rather tense frame of mind, this seemed like the less worst option. ‘

Since Piers’ departure from the show, he has received messages from several stars, by the names of Jeremy Clarkson and Bear Grylls, who said he had the ‘right’ to voice his opinion.

Sharon Osbourne also expressed support for Piers during a performance on The Talk, although she has since retired from the CBS show.
