Christian Bale, famous for his dramatic body transformations for film projects, was photographed in Sydney this week with a new look for “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
The actor was seen on a day off with his family in Palm Beach, with the 47-year-old’s head being shaved completely for his role as the villain of the movie Gorr the God Butcher. Bale also had a much slimmer look than some of his other recent projects, such as “Vice”.
The supervillain grew up on a barren planet and after his family died and he lost faith in gods, he eventually vowed to kill them all after learning of their existence.
Taika Waititi directs the film, which also stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson. Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on May 6, 2022.
