A day after Pennsylvania announced plans to roll back the coronavirus restrictions on April 4, Philadelphia’s top health official said he was not ready to commit to the same fees as the state.

The city will again accept permit applications for major outdoor events, but City Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley, said he was not yet ready to commit to the same relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions that the state has.

Pennsylvania said it will expand indoor dining to 75% next month and allow bar service in pubs and restaurants without the need for food purchases. A 11pm curfew will also be lifted.
