Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll provided some updates on player injuries on Saturday morning, a day before his team takes on the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC West title.
Only one player was ruled out prior to the game, who fell back to DeeJay Dallas, who has a sprained ankle. Three other players with injuries.
Guard Mike Iupati is referred to as doubtful with a sting. Carroll said Jordan Simmons will likely get the nod in his place on Sunday.
“Jordan has done very well,” said Carroll. “He’s a big physical boy, he’s very comfortable playing now, he played soccer a lot for us, so it’s not like a guy coming in who doesn’t have the experience. Jordan can play, he’s played against these guys in the past, so we look forward to him playing well if that’s the way it goes. “
As for tackling another member of the attack line, Brandon Shell, he remains questionable with an ankle injury. However, he can see a limited time in the match.
“He has the opportunity to help us, so we look forward to him getting dressed and with us,” said Carroll.
Safety Damarious Randall was the last Seattle player to make Friday’s injury report, which was identified as questionable with a foot injury.
