Pedro Alamillos recently joined Ceuta University Hospital under the Royal Decree allowing retired health workers (medical, nursing and other personnel) to re-enter the active service of the public sector.
“I come to help and do a little and work together with my colleagues who are saturated,” says the prevention officer who will work next to Julíán Domínguez. “We retirees have been reinstated because a decree was issued in February that allows it,” the specialist recalls.
Alamillos was head of the clinical unit in Jerez de la Frontera until 2018, the year he retired. He is the first retired doctor to join HUCE.
