“McCartney III” is the former Beatle’s 18th solo album. The album was released on Friday and contains 11 new songs.
78-year-old McCartney plays all instruments and sings all vocals, as do his two earlier eponymous solo albums, “McCartney” and “McCartney II” from the 1970s, released in 1980.
In addition to the album, McCartney released the project’s first music video for the song “Find My Way”.
However, McCarthy’s longtime bandmate in the Beatles also has a quarantine record.
Ringo Starr announced a five track record called “Zoom In” with contributions from McCartney, Dave Grohl and Finneas.
On Tuesday, Starr, 80, released one song, “Here To The Nights,” which he wrote with songwriter Diane Warren.
The full album of the former Beatles drummer will be released next year on Universal.
