Pacheco recalled that work on this law began on January 22, 2020, and was seeking to expand the regulations that provide tax exemptions and incentives for businesses in the border area.

Pacheco specified that we must find a way to save Law 28-01, as the last consensus reached on December 30, 2020 was passed.
“The bill was passed in the last session of the Chamber of Deputies, but in a gesture of irresponsibility, the Senate of the Republic seized this past Friday, January 29 this year,” Pacheco said.
He said that the Senate’s adoption of Law 01/28 a month later was precisely intended to “throw a bucket of dirty water at the Chamber of Deputies,” as it was normally “impossible” to send the delegates before this Monday. to call.
“It is a legal ambiguity that the senators approved of the continuity of the regulations that aim for more development of the border area,” said the chairman of the House of Representatives.
