Outriders had a few bugs at launch, like most online games, but worst of all, one that simply wiped out the player’s inventory, depriving them of hours of progress. A major patch went live over the weekend to fix the game and … that bug is still there, only now it takes players a lot more progress since they progressed.
As Eurogamer report, some users in the game’s Reddit updated the game over the weekend and still had issues, and when I say issues I mean there was 50-100 hours of progress in the blink of an eye and the inventory was wiped out.
“Everything gone, 94 hours lost, almost complete build lost, this is a joke”, wrote oneNaked at login, server cannot connect to yada yada like everyone else.
Developers People Can Fly are aware of the ongoing issues and say, “We are aware and deeply sorry that some users are still clearing inventory. We are doing everything we can to fix this issue, both on the server and on the game. “

This game should never have been so dependent on servers in the first place, and everything players are going through right now is a result of that fundamental decision. It sucks! The only good news, if any, is that the developers are in the process of “a recovery for all affected accounts.”
