His hopes of being on the top United States circuit have been blown and now the catracho must find an alternative way to reach Major League Soccer or take on new challenges abroad.
Enrique Facussé, 22, belongs to the University of Kentucky Wildcats and was part of the Honduras Under-23 team that headed to the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, led by Fabián Coito.
He played a few friendlies with the ‘H’, but didn’t make his official debut with the bi-color shirt.

His performance with the Wildcats was good throughout the season in the college class, which led to Enrique being selected to a top circuit to look for him, but no team took him.
Only two Honduran footballers were selected by the MLS Draft, Ramón Nuñéz in 2004 by Dallas Burn and Roger Espinoza in 2008 by the Kansas City Wizards.
The tall 1.93 goalkeeper was born in Tegucigalpa on December 30, 1998, but has lived in the United States for more than four years.

Now Facussé will have to keep working to achieve his goals and become the goalkeeper he wants, whether in MLS or elsewhere where he gets the chance to show himself.
