As usual, Capcom is also releasing new Pro Tour content to help bolster prize winning. This time we get new costumes for G, Seth, and a mysterious outfit that we’ll learn more about later. A new phase called “The Ring of Galaxy” is also on the way, and you can see all of this in the trailer below.

The official CPT site lays down the ground rules and expectations necessary for this latest competitive endeavor.

Last year’s Tour was initially scheduled for the usual offline circuit, but COVID-19 soon put the kibosh on those plans. Capcom was diverted to take the entire Tour online and scheduled a Capcom Cup in the Dominican Republic, but that too fell through due to COVID restrictions.

Finalists instead played exhibitions online against other top competitors from their respective regions, but the 2020 Tour certainly and understandably felt very muted compared to the usual hype and excitement that the Tour brings.

The full CPT schedule is now also available to view on the website, where events begin in April and continue through January 2022.
