OnePlus phone cameras It just doesn’t compare to what you get on Apple and Samsung phones, but according to a new leak, help may be on the way. The company is reportedly working with Hasselblad on the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro.

The final details about it OnePlus’ next flagship phone was unveiled somewhat cumbersome, when a random fan fell in YouTuber Dave2D’s Discord server claims to have information about the OnePlus 9 Pro.

After reaching out to the fan, Dave2D eventually got some screenshots showing what a genuine OnePlus 9 Pro, including a new rear quad camera module with clear Hasselblad branding, support for a 3.3x optical zoom, and a few other notable specs.

It is at all these screenshots may be falsified, but based on previous views for the standard OnePlus 9, which had an almost identical rear camera, but with two cameras instead of four, this leak seems to be disappearing the first sniff test.

Unfortunately, when Dave2D contacted OnePlus CEO and co-founder Pete Lau, Lau did not confirm the leak or indicate that a similar camera system would be available on the standard OnePlus 9. But Lau has already done it disappeared on record saying that one of OnePlus’s big goals for 2021 is a focus on camera quality. W.et other telephone brands have cooperated with notable camera companies (see Huawei’s relationship with Leica and HMDs with Zeiss in front multiple Nokia phones), a collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad not only seems very plausible, but also a very good idea for a company looking to upgrade its camera game.

Apart from the 9 Pros cameras, the leak also detailed support for a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate similar to what’s available in the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra, along with 11GB of RAM (which is a bit of a strange number) and 256GB of storage. And while it didn’t mention which processor the phone was using, based on OnePlus’ previous history with mobile chips, it’s a fair bet the company will probably come along Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm.

And in one separate leak from Max Jambor, it turns out the OnePlus 9 Pro will too offer faster 45-watt wireless charging and support for reverse-directional wireless charging, compared to the 30-watt wireless charging that OnePlus on the OnePlus 8 Pro.

OK, so when will we really know more? The next line of phones from OnePlus is expected to be announced later this spring, with a recent report from Android Central claim there will be some sort of launch event sometime in March.
