The Call of Duty: Warzone meta is in a decent place compared to previous months, but there are still far too many weapons and gear exploiting players on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. There are also some gear flying under the radar, including a new AUG gear that is popular Duty streamer Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff claims this is one of the most faulty gear in the game right now.
This claim will come as a surprise to many competitive players, as – generally – burst-fire weapons aren’t usually considered part of the meta. According to Nickmercs, his new AUG loadout can take out opponents with just a few pushes of the trigger, although it relies heavily on the accuracy of the first shot.
To replicate the gear in the video below, you’ll want to equip the AUG with the 17-inch titanium barrel, the Infancy Compensator muzzle, and the Axial Arms 3X optics. From here you’ll want to add the Field Agent Foregrip and complete the gear with .45 RND Drum ammo. With this gear you get a boost in accuracy and range, which means that if your play style relies more on movement than on shot accuracy, this might not be the best gear for you.
That said, while the equipment is pretty good, it doesn’t make the AUG competitive at a distance, and it’s still not ideal for close-range encounters. In the middle segment, however, this equipment is deadly.
Of course, depending on not only your playing style, but also your skill level, your mileage with this equipment will vary. Furthermore, while it can be very effective, it is not as easy to use as some other “broken” equipment.
