WWE, pro wrestling in general, has had several great men over the years who have pushed the barriers and redefined how giant performers in the business were viewed.
Kurt Angle worked with many physically impressive Superstars during his heyday, and the Olympic gold medalist named Kane and The Undertaker as the two greatest big men of his career.
On the last episode of ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ on AdFreeShows, the WWE Hall of Famer talked about the match he had with Kane from 2001 leading up to that year’s WWE No Way Out PPV.
Kurt Angle said he had a great time with Kane in the WWE, praising the Big Red Machine’s agility and athletic ability.
“It was amazing. One of the best big boys I’ve ever worked with. He had a knack for, you know, what he did in the ring. He was incredible. Great athlete for his height.”

Angle also named Kane’s kayfabe brother Undertaker and explained why The Brothers of Destruction were the best when it came to giant wrestlers’ work in the ring. Kurt Angle revealed that both Kane and Undertaker were light-hearted and did everything they could to make their matches smoother.
Great men are notorious for being difficult to work with, but Kane and Undertaker were different and very skilled at their trade. Angle said it was actually easy working with Kane and Undertaker, and that’s a huge credit to wrestlers as big as the Brothers of Destruction.
“He and Undertaker were the two best big boys I ever got into the ring with. They weren’t heavy. They were light. They jumped for you if you gave them a suplex. They weren’t very difficult to work with. , they were really easy to work with, and that’s, you know, a huge compliment to anyone of that size in the industry. ”
While The Undertaker officially ended his career at WWE Survivor Series last year, Kane would follow tradition and return in the most recent men’s Royal Rumble match.
Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, is busy as Mayor of Knox County, and while he may continue to appear on WWE TV sporadically, his days as an active in-ring artist ended a long time ago.
