Ohio State just keeps winning games in multiple ways. Monday night Maryland came out with the intention of punching the Buckeyes in the mouth, and it worked for a while.
The Terrapins played a physical brand ball with a lot of movement towards the edge, resulting in an early lead. Like so many games for this season, OSU found a way to get points with what the opposition gave it, held on to the defense and won another road race in the rough and tumbling Big Ten with a score of 73-65.
There’s a lot to go on with this one, especially with the way the Buckeyes responded and handled matters in the face of a team that seemed motivated and was looking to turn some heads in the college basketball world tonight.
