NYC attacker punched the man in the face and spit out anti-Asian libel

A racist attacker punched a man in the face in Harlem last month – hurling anti-Asian insults at him during the attack, the NYPD said on Sunday.

The unidentified suspect walked to a 27-year-old man near Fred Samuel Park on Lenox Avenue near 140th Street on Feb. 15 around 10 p.m. and pushed him, police said.

The victim then asked his attacker why he was pushing him, and the suspect responded by punching him in the face and yelling anti-Asian libel at him, police said.

Police said the suspect ran off toward 139th Street.

The attacker was last seen wearing a black jacket, black cap and black bandanna that he used as a face mask, footage released by the NYPD show.

He is still at large, police said.
