Nvidia’s $ 329 RTX 3060 graphics card will launch on Feb. 25

We already knew Nvidia would be making a $ 329 RTX 3060 graphics card, and today the company announced that it will be making its most affordable RTX 3000 series GPU available from retailers starting Feb. 25. Retailers open orders for the RTX 3060 from 9AM PT / 12PM ET. Nvidia tells The edge it will not create a Founder’s Edition of the RTX 3060 graphics card.

The RTX 3060 is designed to succeed the legacy GeForce GTX 1060 Pascal cards and features 12 GB of GDDR6 memory. Like the other products in the RTX 3000 series, the RTX 3060 also supports DLSS and Nvidia’s suite of RTX applications.

With a new RTX 30 card coming later this month, we expect the RTX 3060 GPU to sell out fastThese cards have been hard to buy since last fall when the RTX 30 series first debuted. In January, Nvidia said it expects deliveries of its GPUs to both consumers and partners “will likely remain lean in the first quarter,” which will not end until the end of April. To alleviate the supply shortage and skyrocketing prices, Nvidia confirmed yesterday that it plans to bring back its older RTX 2060 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics cards.
