Nurse stops taking second dose so as not to continue “begging”

A Puerto Rican nurse voiced her discomfort via social networks, where she assured she had to beg for the second dose of the Covid-19 coronavirus vaccine.

“The answer to the second dose. When I die of Covid, they give the picture to the news. And please take the message from me to the country that I was a nurse begging for the second dose. Ahhh but folks. they are not already running both vaccines ”(sic.), the health worker wrote on her Facebook account.

Last Tuesday, before complaints from people who had arrived at sunrise to queue for their second dose vaccination and encountered trial, National Guard Adjutant General José Reyes confirmed that the planned shipments were not the second dose, so they have to cancel and reschedule appointments.

“The shipments coming to Puerto Rico are not coming as planned,” Reyes said in a radio interview (WKAQ580).
