New Delhi: In a horrific incident, a nursing staff in Indonesia was suspended after having sex with a corona patient in the hospital toilet. According to the latest updates, the nurse has been placed in an isolation ward after trying to get intimate with a coronavirus patient without his PPE suit. The incident took place in a toilet of the Wisma Atlet quarantine facility in Jakarta. The whole thing came to light after the patient, who was Covid-19 positive at the time, posted details about it on social media. In the WhatsApp screenshots shared by the patient, the nurse’s PPE set can be seen scattered on the toilet floor as it warms up between the two. Hospital authorities started the investigation shortly after the video went viral on social media and the nurse was banned after admitting to stripping his PPE kit in front of a coronavirus patient. However, the case has now been handed over to the Central Jakarta Police.
After the meeting, the individuals due were tested for coronavirus. While the patient tested positive, the nurse tested negative for coronavirus.
Since the deadly coronavirus spreads via droplets, sexual intercourse and even intimacy such as kissing is strictly prohibited in case one experiences symptoms related to the coronavirus.
They were both later arrested by Central Jakarta police under the country’s strict pornographic laws after the incident was widely shared and mocked on social media in Indonesia.
