Now the number of votes per vote comes up for inconsistencies

TEGUCIGALPA.

The verification of more than 12 thousand records with inconsistencies was about to begin last night in the National Institute of Vocational Training (Infop) with the presence of movement representatives and other observers.

The special investigation was delayed because some schools of thought questioning the minutes did not send their representatives on time, due to internet problems and because the National Electoral Council (CNE) preferred to train the current representatives first.

The purpose of the evaluation is to clarify a series of reasonable doubts that candidates present for elected positions through challenges.

Until yesterday it was CNE it had received 103 complaints, 15 of which corresponded with the Liberal Party; 53 to Libertad y Refundación (free) and 35 to the National Party, a source from the collegiate body reported.

The representative of one of the Free Party currents, Cintia García, challenged 70 minutes from La Ceiba, Tela, Jutiapa, Esparta, San Francisco and La Masica, the department of Atlántida. “It’s minutes that were blown up, places where the load that was a thousand people, two thousand voices appear,” he said. Juan Diego Zelaya, former candidate for mayor of the capital by the nationalist current Juntos Podemos – of Mauricio Oliva – challenged 153 minutes of the Central District.

Today, at noon, the deadline for submitting their writings expires for candidates who believe they have been affected by alleged falsifications of the results.

There are still some unspecified minutes that have already been scanned and made public, but will be re-evaluated as determined by the full board, said Marlon Ochoa, electoral co-director.

Rating by vote

The process includes opening the suitcase and reviewing each ballot and comparing it with the original closing minutes, with the ballot books and if any irregularities are found, the minutes are annulled and a new one is drawn up. “All challenges will be addressed by opening the election case to count the election documents in detail and make the corresponding crosses,” said counsel Rixi Monada.

“ We have a little over twelve thousand records that are causing problems, which the system has rejected because they contain different types of errors: in the balance, in the total sum, the number of ballots sent does not correspond to the number of voters, others that they exceed voice volume ”.
