Norma Palafox did not reach an agreement to renew her contract and announced that she will no longer be a part of Chivas
GUADALAJARA – The guideline of Chivas wife announced that lForward Norma Palafox was not part of the Rojiblanco club after not reaching an agreement to renew their contractual relationship.
The Guadalajara club confirmed that the forward will once again undertake a professional project outside of football, as it did for a year at the end of the 2019 Clausura tournament.
“The Guadalajara Sports Club point out that after several weeks of negotiations in which both parties have expressed their genuine interest in renewing the contractual relationship they maintain, Norma Palafox determined to no longer be a part of Chivas Women as he will undertake another professional project outside of football ”, the club reported.
The Mexican forward started the women’s Chivas project in 2017 and took the league title in the 2017 Apertura tournament, later in the 2019 Clausura tournament, he left the institution with the permission of the board of directors to be part of a television program.
A year after he left the track, he returned to the rojiblanco women’s team, so for the 2020 Clausura tournament, he rejoined the ranks of Guadalajara, making it his second and final leg.
Palafox Duarte was part of Guadalajara for three years in two different stages, playing 90 official matches, in which he stood out by proclaiming himself the historic scorer of the Women’s ‘Sacred Herd’ by scoring 21 goals.
