When an iPhone 12 is placed on it, it will automatically align and lock onto the wireless charging puck, but when users go to grab their device, the gravity pulling down on the 1.5-pound stainless steel dock is stronger than MagSafe’s magnetic grip, keeping everything but the phone firmly in place.
