Nissan Sentra: Finalist of “Car of the Year” Award

Nissan Sentra will start in 2021 and has been established as one of the three finalists for the ‘Car of the Year’ award in 2021.

The winner will be chosen next Monday, January 11, by a jury consisting of 50 leading independent automotive journalists from the regions of the United States and Canada.

Brand new for 2020, Sentra offers refined design, unexpected technology and values, including the most standard safety features in its class. Sentra boasts a stately exterior and interior with sporty and premium features that set the standard for the quality and comfort of a compact sedan.

Behind the wheel, Sentra is also a joy to drive thanks to its fuel-efficient 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine that generates 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque.

High-level driving dynamics are supported by an independent rear suspension coupled with a MacPherson front suspension with twin shock absorbers.

In its debut year, the new Sentra won numerous awards and industry accolades including: “10 Best Interiors” by WardsAuto; JD Power 2020 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL), with a score of 42, above the average for the compact sedan segment; “Best New Cars of 2020”; and “Top 10 cars for recent graduates.”
