Nintendo’s direct archive appears to have been updated, and some fans are raving

Super Mario

It’s been a while since Nintendo released a appropriate Direct or even a Mini – so when can the next broadcast take place?

According to a post on the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, there may be one on the horizon. With the help of Visio Spark – a website that can track when Others websites were last updated, it was discovered that the Nintendo Direct archives changed several times last week.

In saying this, it could just as easily be a “false flag” if another post in the same thread indicates that the “page is being updated regularly”. Who else knows?

While Nintendo has unveiled some of its lineup for 2021, fans would of course be keen to know what else it has planned for the year. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is also out next month, and there is still something to learn about it.

The last Direct Nintendo held late last year for the Super Nintendo World theme park. Before that, it held a series of Mini Directs with its partner games.

What do you think? Could this minor web page update of the Nintendo Direct archive be a sign of things to come? What do you want from the next Nintendo broadcast? Share your thoughts below.
