Nintendo Switch “Year in Review” reveals your most played games for 2020

Nintendo now allows Switch users to look back on their ‘Year in Review’. This feature provides a detailed breakdown of how much time players spent with the console in 2020. The way to access this program for yourself, assuming you want it, is also quite simple.

A new webpage has been created on the official Nintendo Switch website where users can log in to view their playtime statistics for all of 2020. To take advantage of this service, simply log in to your Nintendo Account on the website. . From here, Nintendo will then personalize your own page filled with the games you’ve played most often in the last 12 months.

This Year in Review feature divides your playtime by hours, but also shows your stats compared to 2019, assuming you might have had a Switch last year too. It also highlights the total number of games you’ve played on the Switch in 2020, which is pretty new. At the same time, it even includes a breakdown of the number of hours you spent with the Switch each month, so you know how active you were all year round.

Finally, Year in Review also highlights the games you’ve spent the most time with. I can imagine that for many Animal Crossing: New Horizons will prove to have been a great time flush, but everyone’s list will naturally vary. When I speak for myself Hades ended up being my own most played Switch game of the year, and I’m fine with that.

These year-end wrap-ups are something most console manufacturers do, but Nintendo is the first to release one for 2020. PlayStation and Xbox will likely have their own iterations of this service live in the coming weeks. When that happens, we’ll let you know here at ComicBook.com.
