To celebrate Super Mario’s 35th anniversary last year, Nintendo offered a special anniversary pin on My Nintendo in North America and Canada. You had to complete so many missions on the site and from there you were eligible for your own set.
All details have now been revealed for the second Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Pin Set (Wave 2). All you have to do is buy Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and complete the “14 Mario themed additional missions” to qualify.
The advantage, of course, is that they are available in “limited quantities”, while supplies last – so if you want one, you have to act quickly.
Nintendo is also hosting a My Nintendo Super Mario Bros. sweepstakes – where you can win one of several cool prize packages.
Included prizes are an F4F Mario and Yoshi statue, Super Mario LEGO, Super Mario clothing, and the entire Super Mario pin set with Wave 1 and Wave 2. Visit My Nintendo to join. Note: This is only open to residents of the US and Canada.
