Two of the biggest names in the sport have joined forces as Paris Saint-Germain’s striker Kylian Mbappé’s soon has his own colorway of NBA champion LeBron James’ current signature shoe.
A first look at Mbappé’s take on the Nike LeBron 18 was watched today by @Jesuscare on Instagram, who appears to be wearing a color scheme that pays homage to his hometown, France, with the bold blue and red accents in the Knitposite 2.0 upper that reminiscent of the French flag. Additional details include the football player’s “KM” logo on the tongue, two embroidered mini Swoosh logos on the toe cap and an iridescent heel counter and outsole.
Mbappé’s Nike LeBron 18 colorway has already landed at select retailers overseas, but a release in the United States has yet to be confirmed by the brand. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (01/02): A.According to the Foot Locker release date, Mbappé’s Nike LeBron 18 will hit elementary school shelves on January 7 for $ 160. There is currently no launch date available for the men’s version, but check out the upcoming pair below and stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
