A few hours before the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto kicked off, Niantic revealed important last-minute details for the event.

The biggest announcement was the Pokemon that would be available every hour. These are the following:

All Pokemon from previous hours (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM)

Those looking for regionals like Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan Tauros and Mr. Mime will find them in raids.

Legendary raid bosses include the Legendary Birds – Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres – and Mewtwo, which should be the main goal for everyone.

The wildcard Pokemons rarely found in the wild include Lickitung, Chansey, Tangela, Lapras, and Aerodactyl The grand prize for the event is shiny Snorlax. It will appear in the wild and also in raids.

The version-specific Pokemon was mentioned in an earlier post, but I assume you’ve already picked your color – red or green – if you’re reading this. Use this information to plan your day and keep in mind, YOU MUST USE INCENSE TO ATTRACT VERSION-EXCLUSIVE POKEMON. Personally, this makes me think about my location for Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto. It may be more sensible to look for an area with a high density of gyms to access raids that will appear during the day.

Judging by the live streams in Australia, it looks like the shiny speed isn’t quite as good as Community Day, but better than usual. It looks like people got 4 Shiny Pokemon in two hours. I cross my fingers and hope for a better rate when the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto shifts west, but we’ll see.

BONUSES
In addition to the schedule, Niantic also revealed some bonuses for players. Players get free item bundles with three Remote Raid passes and 200 Poke Balls. Players will also receive nine daily Raid Passes during event hours.

There are reports that players can make a special trade five times. If true, players can trade for shiny and sought-after Pokemon during the event. I would recommend that you use Lucky Friend transactions to maximize the benefits.

For those trying to load up their Pokemon to level 50, Niantic said there is a candy bonus. There are unconfirmed reports that it can be very generous. One player said they got 93 Magikarp candies from a pinap catch.
