NFL playoff photo 2020 – Week 15 standings, bracket, scenarios and post-season outlook

The NFL entered Week 15 with four teams qualifying for the 2020 post-season. That number could triple by the end of the weekend. Five additional teams could secure at least a playoff berth in the coming days, leaving five more places to be decided in weeks 16 and 17.

Here are all the NFL playoff photo scenarios, along with an analysis from ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) as to the likelihood of them taking place, after the Chargers beat the Raiders 30-27 on Thursday night. This post will be updated after the NFL games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Note: X indicates a team that has captured a playoff berth, Y indicates a team that has reached its division, and Z indicates a team that has secured a first round bye.

A week after earning their fifth consecutive AFC West title, the Chiefs can take home advantage in the playoffs this weekend with a win over the Saints and losses to the Steelers and Bills. And even if they lose to the Saints, FPI would still give them an 88% chance of eventually getting their hands on the No. 1 seed.
