New York prosecutor: JOH wanted to ‘put the drug in the noses of the gringos’

TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.- The 55-page document that New York prosecution filed on the charges against the president Juan Orlando Hernandez reveals that the Honduran confessed to a drug trafficker that he wanted to pass drugs U.S to put it in the “noses of the gringos”.

As revealed by the Associate Press bureau, the letter reveals “startling details,” such as the president’s American Drug Agency that Honduras fought drug trafficking when in reality he did eliminate extradition.

It also publishes that Hernández stated on one occasion that he was “Putting the drug in the noses of the gringos who flood the United States with cocaine”.

Prosecutors based their charges on Friday in part on conversations they had with the former leader of Los Cachiros Devis Leonel Rivera Maradiaga, who has been imprisoned in New York for years. The documents are in preparation for the drug trial Geovanny Daniel Fuentes Ramirez, in which Rivera Maradiaga will testify, prosecutors said.

Social Security

According to prosecutors, the president made comments such as social security in one place in the Cortés department that he visited. The property’s owner, prosecutors said, financed the National Party of Honduras from the president.

In addition, the prosecutors of the Southern District of New York point out in court documents filed in the electronic system of federal courts that Hernández explained to others how he misappropriated aid money offered by U.S through fraudulent non-profit organizations.
