New Xbox Series X report is bad news for Console’s big exclusive games

Myth 4 Perfectly dark Everwild, and many of the big exclusive games that Xbox Game Studios has announced and are working on aren’t coming out anytime soon, or at least that’s what a new report claims. The PS5 has only been out for a few months but has already done so Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Demon’s Souls, and more. And soon it will add something to this Returns Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden WestOn the other hand, the Xbox Series X currently lacks major exclusivity, it doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon. It has Halo infinite, which will be released later this year, but there isn’t much else right now.

During a VCG podcast, GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring revealed that he has heard many of the big upcoming exclusive games from Xbox such as Myth 4, are years away. Dring even jokes that there might be another Xbox console out before we see some of these games released, stressing that Xbox fans are waiting a long time.

“I have an Xbox Series X and I love it. I have a PS5 and I love it. I play my PS5 because of the many exclusive games that I don’t have on the Xbox, ”said Dring. And if you look at the Xbox … Xbox has a lot of great studios and these games are coming, but I’ve had few conversations with some friends at Xbox Game Studios, and the games they announced – Everwild Perfectly dark Fable – are so far away. “

This is more or less where the report ends. As always, what is taken here should be taken with a grain of salt. Although the source in question is reliable, this does not change the fact that this is all information from the unofficial variety. Furthermore, it is subject to change.

I personally haven’t heard much from Xbox Game Studios, although I’ve heard a few slightly disturbing things about the development of the new Perfectly dark, which is being made by Xbox’s brand new studio, The Initiative.

With the Bethesda acquisition, Xbox finally has a portfolio of studios and talent to not only match the consistent quality of PlayStation and Nintendo’s first-party output, but surpass them all. However, it may take a while for Xbox Game Studios to have its duck in line and start firing at all cylinders.
