Superman and Lois

Superman and Lois will enjoy a 90-minute premiere episode on Tuesday, February 23, followed by a behind-the-scenes special titled Legacy of Hope.

In SUPERMAN & LOIS, after years of confrontation with megalomaniac super villains, monsters wreaking havoc on Metropolis and alien invaders seeking to destroy the human race, the world’s most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin, ‘Teen Wolf ‘) and comic book’s most famous journalist, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch,’ Grimm ‘), come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever: coping with all the stress, pressure and complexity that comes with working parents in contemporary society. Clark and Lois complicate the already daunting task of raising two boys and also have to deal with whether their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass, “Little Fires Everywhere”) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, “The Peanuts Movie”) who could inherit from their father. Cryptonic superpowers as they age. Clark and Lois return to Smallville to run a family business in Kent, and are re-acquainted with Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui, ‘Entourage’), a local loan officer who also happens to be Clark’s first love, and her husband, a fire chief. Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez, “Graceland”). The adults aren’t the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville, as Kent’s sons are re-introduced to Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sarah (Inde Navarrette, “Wander Darkly”). Of course there is never a dull moment in a superhero’s life, especially when Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh, “Nip / Tuck”) is looking for Superman to defeat a villain or into save an instant. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’s return to idyllic Smallville will be turned upside down when a mysterious stranger (Wolé Parks, “All American”) enters their lives. SUPERMAN & LOIS is based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and is written and produced by Todd Helbing (“The Flash”) and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns. The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

But this season – and if we get even more chances to tell the story we have [in season 3] – will continue to weave into the bigger story and really inform some things, even in Lordship which ties in with discoveries I have made that I am very enthusiastic about.
