The newest character to join the roster Skullgirls 2nd again becomes Annie of the Stars. While it had previously been announced that she would join the roster sometime in 2021, Hidden Variable developers have limited that window of release. Annie of the Stars will appear in Skullgirls 2nd again early 2021. In addition to this teaser trailer, Hidden Zero has teased an upcoming new character Skullgirls 2nd again.
Annie will first be available through the Steam client on PC for early access. Once the developers have made enough adjustments to be happy with the character, the announcement for the full release of the DLC on other platforms will follow. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
In addition, the developers have confirmed that another character will be joining Skullgirls 2nd again. At the end of the Annie of the Stars teaser trailer, viewers received confirmation that another character is currently in the works. Hidden Variable’s official forum post mentions that more information about this brand new character will be released sometime in the future. In addition, the official forum posts links to three images and encourages users to speculate about who or what this new addition is.
Skullgirls 2nd again is available for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
