In case you forgot, a new Pokemon called MOBA is in the works Pokemon unite which will come to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in the future. While The Pokemon Company hasn’t said much about this new game since it was first revealed in 2020, it looks like we’ll be getting a ton of new information soon.
The reason for this belief stems from the fact that a new gameplay video is coming up Pokemon unite recently made its way to YouTube. The video, which was just uploaded today and can be found below, features an entire match starting from the Pokemon opening screen, all the way to the post-game lobby and its main menu. The footage we see revolves around a player controlling Charizard, but other Pokemon such as Slowbro, Absol, Snorlax, and Lucario are also featured.
If you are wondering how this gameplay came about at all, Pokemon unite is currently going through a closed beta phase. The only downside is that this beta is currently only available in China. The in-game text of the gameplay video certainly gave this away if you had already watched it yourself. For now, there are no plans to bring the same beta to other regions, but that may change in the future.
The positive side of this whole situation is that for Pokemon unite to have a beta at all, it means a formal release could come sooner than we think. In all likelihood, the game will undergo additional beta phases in other regions around the world in the coming months before launching thereafter. While this is in no way a guarantee, other multiplayer games, especially those on mobile devices, follow this pattern.
Of course, if revelations are made about it Pokemon unite in the near future we will of course keep you posted here at ComicBook.com. Until then, you can continue to follow all of our coverage of the game here in the future.
