New Pokemon Snap Reveals Official Box Art

New Pokemon Snap has revealed the official game artwork for the highly anticipated title. Last week, the Pokemon Company decided to shake the table and give fans an expanded trailer for the upcoming Switch game. Shortly afterwards, the locks really opened and the pre-orders were live. But in the zeal, Nintendo also showed people what the game would look like on their shelves. Appetizers like Scorbunny and Grookey take center stage, along with Pikachu. There is also some love for old favorites like Meganium. Lapras has also played a big part in most of the trailers. The Kanto region also gets Dodrio in a nice echo of the first Pokemon Snap title. And for those who are especially serious about catching their bugs, Vivillion is everywhere in all those different configurations.

Last time around, Pokemon Snap enabled trainers to interact differently with their favorite creatures. Riding that buggy and taking pictures of all the original 151. But in the new title, both camera technology has advanced, but it looks like there will be branching paths through the individual boards. That has nothing to say about the improved graphics fidelity and quality of life improvements that await in the latest version of the game. Many who were around for the first game in 1999 have been waiting all these years for a real successor. Now their day in the sun is finally near.
