Last week one leaked product roadmap disclosed some of Samsung’s upcoming gadget launches for the year including the arrival of new regular laptops. Now some pictures of the devices have too surfaced, allowing us to take a look at Samsung’s new Galaxy Book Pros a few weeks earlier.

In the latest images posted by renowned leaker Evan Blass, we see a relatively minimalist laptop design available in both standard clamshell and 2-in-1 housing, the latter having a 360 degree hinge that allows the display to be turned in various configurations.

According to Blass, the Galaxy Book Pro will be available in both 13- and 15-inch sizes with at least two color options (blue and silver), billing the regular Galaxy Book Pro as a replacement for last year’s Galaxy Book Ion, while the Galaxy Book Pro 360 serves as an update to the Galaxy Book Flex

In keeping with Samsung’s plan to expand stylus support to a wide variety of devices, both versions of the Galaxy Book Pro will also come with a built-in S-Pen and presumably Samsung’s typical range of stylus apps for sketching.take, and more.

Based on previously rumored info from WalkingCat (@RTLNews), the Galaxy Book Pro line is expected to feature a range of 11th Gen Intel CPUs, integrated Intel graphics (or Nvidia MX250 or MX450 GPUs on some 15-inch models), Full HD AMOLED touchscreens and possible Thunderbolt 4 support, which suggests that at least some versions of the Galaxy Book Pro can participate in Intel’s Evo program

WalkingCat also hinted that another smaller and more portable Samsung laptop may be on the way. T.he Galaxy Book Go will feature an ARM-based CPU thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx platform and likely support for built-in 4G LTE or possibly 5G connectivity.

Unfortunately, as Samsung’s leaked roadmap indicates that these laptops are about three weeks away from official announcement, there is no final price or availability information for the new Galaxy Book Pros.

Meanwhile, Samsung keeps pumping out other devices, including a new line of high-resolution productivity monitors that come with support for HDR 10, have built-in blue light filters certified by TÜV Rheinland, and are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. The S8 sits on top of Samsung’s new line of displays with 4K UHD resolution 27-inch and 32-inch models, while the S7 and S6 step up to 3440 x 1440 or 2560 x 1440 resolutions with screens ranging from 24 inches all the way up to 34 inches, with a few models even a curved design or support for AMD FreeSync.

The only downside to these monitors is that while they support HDR 10, they are not true HDR panels as they come out at 300 nits of brightness, which is 100 nits less than VESA’s lowest HDR400 requirements. For monitors designed primarily for office work rather than gaming or entertainment, the lack of full HDR400 support is unlikely to be a problem.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not yet revealed pricing and availability for these monitors, so as with upcoming laptops, we may have to sit still to see how much they’ll cost.
