New Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch arrives, fixes decorations and festival crashes

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ostara Festival Fix

Updating: Ubisoft has confirmed that the next patch for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be rolled out on Friday, March 26. As predicted, the update aims to fix the crash issues introduced with the Ostara festival. It should also restore settlement decoration as well as festival functionality. relief

We will update this article again once the patch is live.

Original Story: A new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla should be coming soon on PlayStation 5 and PS4. The incoming patch has been spotted on Sony’s servers PlayStation game size, suggesting release is imminent.

So what is it for? Well, last week the newly added Ostara Festival managed to cause widespread crash problems. Ubisoft quickly took action by removing the settlement decorating system and various festival activities. This would have stopped the crashing, but players were left with a broken festival and were unable to adjust their settlement.

As such, we can only assume that this update fixes the original issue and restores both decoration and festival functionality. Hopefully it works, because if not, we fear that even the most dedicated Valhalla players will lose patience with the post-launch support of the game.

In any case, we will be sure to post about the patch as soon as it becomes available for download.
