Netflix’s Sonic Prime: Sonic the Hedgehog Animated Series confirmed for 2022

Netflix has announced an all-new animated Sonic the Hedgehog series, Sonic Prime, which will premiere worldwide in 2022. The animated adventure will consist of 24 episodes, which will follow Sonic on a “high-octane adventure” where the fate of a strange new multiverse rests in his gloved hands. However, Netflix notes that the series is “more than a race to save the universe,” as the Blue Blur eventually embarks on “a journey of self-discovery and redemption.”

Sonic Prime will be a collaboration between SEGA and Wild Brain Studio as the two companies will jointly produce, distribute and license the series, along with Ben 10 creators Man of Action Entertainment, who will serve as showrunners and executive producers on the project. was accidentally bullied at the end of last year.
