Greer Grammer rose to fame as the star of Netflix’s sexy new thriller Deadly Illusions, but confused viewers have slammed the film, calling it the “ worst ” they’ve ever seen.
The 29-year-old, daughter of Kelsey Grammer and Barrie Buckner, plays Grace, a seemingly innocent nanny hired by bestselling novelist Mary (Kristin Davis), and her husband Tom (Dermot Mulroney).
The film has dominated Netflix’s Top 10 charts since it debuted last week, and after rising rapidly in the rankings, it is now the number one movie on the streaming platform.
However, with its off-the-wall plot and free sex scenes, some viewers take to Twitter to call it a waste of time, insisting that the movie is better suited for Lifetime than Netflix.

“ I just watched Deadly Illusions on Netflix … honestly, I could cancel my subscription all together, ” wrote someone else.
While there were some harsh reviews from viewers, there were some people who were just baffled by the psychological thriller. They admitted that they are not even quite sure what happened at the end of the movie.
“I just finished watching Deadly illusions on Netflix, and all I can say is what the hell that was,” said one Twitter user.
“NONE OF IT MAKES THE SENSE SO SORRY,” someone else whined.

“ On the advice of my friend, I watch the best horrible movie ever on Netflix: DEADLY ILLUSIONS with Kristin Davis, a dried up former handsome actor and Greer Grammer, ” commented one person. “What kind of employer brings her babysitting bra groceries?”
‘I just watched Deadly Illusions and of course immediately jumped online with questions. The consensus online seems to be that it is bad? someone else wrote. “I enjoyed it while watching it, but I was definitely confused about it.”
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Greer followed in the footsteps of her famous father with her first on-screen role in iCarly in 2010. Prior to Deadly illusions, she was best known for playing Lissa Miller on MTV’s series Awkward.
The actress stepped out of her comfort zone to play the role of Grace, with dark and intimate scenes with her costars.
However, there were fans who enjoyed the movie and really liked how bad they thought it was.

“I loved the idea of doing it and pushing myself further because I loved that and always wanted to be taken a little more seriously,” she told KGET. “But I think there were times on set when I was like, ‘Whoa, I really have to do this.’
“It’s different to read it in a script and see it from someone else’s eyes,” she explained. ‘When I was filming it, I was on board to do it, but it was just so different from anything I had done before.’
Greer praised her co-star Kristin, 56, for making her feel comfortable on set and showing her how to be aware of her limits when filming sex scenes.
“I felt so safe in all scenarios and everyone felt so comfortable with everything we showed,” she said.
Kristin is great for so many reasons, but she was on a show called Sex in the City for years. So she’s not a novice to sex scenes or sex in movies and how to film them where I was bad.
She added, “Kristin was really good at being comfortable, but also very determined in what she was going to do, which made it really easy for me to set my limits as well.”
