GRAFTON (WLS) – About 500 doses of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine had to be disposed of in Wisconsin.

About fifty vials of vaccines were left overnight from a pharmacy refrigerator at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin.
While some vaccines were administered to workers within 12 hours of refrigeration, most had to be discarded due to temperature requirements.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services said it is unaware that this is happening anywhere else in the state, but found the situation to be disappointing and regrettable.
