Apple Store closure California

All California retail locations have a notice to let customers know that the stores are temporarily closed, although some allow order pickups and genius bar appointments until December 22. There is no word on when the stores will reopen, but they will remain closed on holidays.

Apple has closed stores in California as COVID cases have continued to rise in the state, and stores elsewhere in the world are also currently closed. According to 9to5Macthere are currently almost 100 Apple Stores that are not active.

Stores in Tennessee were closed this weekend and stores that are in UK Tier 4 restrictions are closing as of today. 18 stores in Germany and the Netherlands closed last week, and stores in Mexico and Brazil will close this weekend.

In most stores still open in the United States, Apple operates with a limited “Express” capacity, which makes it possible to pick up and make brilliant bar appointments, but not to shop and browse in-store.

Apple began closing retail locations earlier this year, and many of its stores were closed for months in the spring. Apple began reopening stores in June, but said stores could close again, subject to local guidelines and conditions. 400 stores are still open.

In all stores, Apple requires face masks, limit store occupancy, run temperature checks, socialize distance measures, and regular thorough cleaning.
